I absolutely love the work of Richard Avedon. I missed his exhibition at the San Francisco MoMA....so mad!!! Our project in lighting, using reflectors really helped me focus on how the light falls on the object you are photographing. I now notice the little details that light can emphasize. I did another photo shoot with Merritt and Natalie and borrowed flood lights that I could angle. They worked well (a little bright) and I guess they are cheap...which is always a good thing.
